MEET DANNY VERDIN
Sen. Danny Verdin and his wife, Kimberlee, live in Laurens, S.C. with their four children, Annemarie, Daniel, Whitson, and Caroline. Sen. Verdin is graduate of Bob Jones University and is presently the owner of Verdin’s Farm & Garden Center.
Danny Verdin was first elected to the Senate in 2000 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. Sen. Verdin had previously served as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Advisor to Governor Carroll Campbell, which makes his chairmanship of this committee particularly suited to his experience.
In 2006 the S.C. Farm Bureau honored Sen. Verdin with their prestigious Legislator of the Year Award. This year Senator Verdin was named Legislator of the Year yet again, this time by the S.C. Veterinarians Association.
