Dear Mr. Harrison:

I am in receipt of the Speaker’s letter to Senator Ritchie and to each member of the conference committee on immigration reform, and I feel compelled to respond so that the House conferees understand not only the constraints under which they operate but also the constraints under which the Senators Ritchie, Campsen, and Sheheen must operate.

one of your legislative goals as it said in your bio was to control the rate of growth in government. before you control that i think we need to control the rate of immigrants in south carolina. immigrants are coming and coming and there needs to be a tougher law on the problem

I hope this country and this state is at least trying to do the right thing.
I’ am a citizen of South Carolina, born and raised in Mami, Florida. I know very well what most people think of the immigration bill and the treatment the aliens should get. Do you know why they are over here in the first place? It is because they get paid to work. When you ask a citizen which s(he) prefer more money or more days off, they are most likely going to choose the day off. When you have illegal immigrants, I 100% agree that these “aliens” should be granted the right to become citizens in-stead of exported out of the country.

Think about it, do you really have the heart to tell the whole world that you are going to export any illegal immigrant with out suggesting to become a citizen of the “Great United States”, would you really do that?

One more thing, are you sure you could even kick out every single “alien”?
