Senator Ronnie Cromer

MEET RONNIE CROMER

Cromer is a life-long resident of Newberry County. He has been married to his wife, Linda, for 37 years. He has two daughters, Candace and Heather, and one grandson, Zachary. His family attends Grace Lutheran Church where he is also a Sunday school teacher.

Sen. Cromer has been a state Republican leader for more than 12 years. Previously he has served on the Prosperity Town Council, the Newberry County Development Board, and the Newberry County Hospital Board of Trustees. At the state level Cromer has served on the South Carolina Occupational Board and the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.

Cromer has also served our nation. He is a Ret. Lt. Col US National Guard, who was deployed in Operation Desert Storm. Cromer earned several honors for meritorious service during the conflict.

Sen. Cromer’s public service is only surpassed by his private sector experience. Cromer has been the owner/operator of Lo-Rex Drugs, an independent pharmacy, for over twenty years. He is also is an advisory board member for Capital Bank.
